Background.
The conference is organized to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Swedish famous traveler, scholar, writer and painter Sven Hedin and in memory of his expedition team.
Conference Aims.
This conference provides an opportunity to discuss and exchange information about Central Asia and Mongolia, focusing on Mongolian history, ethnic groups’ lifestyles, languages, cultures and religions in late XIX and early XX century. Hosted by the Mongolian National University of Education the conference also offers unparalleled networking opportunities for delegates from Mongolia and overseas.
Conference Participation.
The participants are encouraged to present in Mongolian, English, Russian.
Delegates are responsible for covering the costs of their own travel and stay in Ulaanbaatar.
